About this boat
Jahazi Mawingu is a 38-foot traditional lateen-sailed dhow built in Lamu in 2012. We run sunset cruises on Mida Creek, lunchtime reef trips to the Watamu Marine Park, and private bareboat hires.
Soft furnishings on the foredeck, shaded main-deck bar, onboard Swahili-style lunch on request. Crew of three — including our lead sailor Mzee Omari, 40 years at sea.
